100% WATERPROOF

The key to the Tempest range’s performance is in its technical dual tough fabric. Constructed from a tough Double Ripstop outer, which protects the advanced waterproof membrane which is rated 15 000mm (JIS L1092:2009) and a breathability of 10 000 gm/m2/24hours . For even added protection and peace-of-mind, the fabric also features an inner PU layer which itself is 10,000mm waterproof tested and breathability of 10,000gm/m2/24hours.

FABRIC TECHNOLOGY

The Tempest Range is made from our ‘Dual Tough Fabric’ which is a combination of two waterproof layers and a brushed inner lining. The outer waterproof layer is a tough Ripstop Nylon with an advanced DWR treatment that repels water, blood and dirt. This fabric has an advanced 100% waterproof membrane that’s rated at 15 000mm (JIS L1092:2009) and has a breathability of 10 000 gm/m2/24hours. This outer layer is bonded with an inner PU layer which is 100% waterproof and rated at 10,000mm and has a breathability of 10,000gm/m2/24hours.
